This week we have been completing a Christmas Create choice board. Here are the activities I completed. I made a Christmas slide about Joey and Santa with George and I made a Christmas card for my Mum and Dad. I also made a house using shapes with George. I hope you like it.
Rockets were first used as weapons. I like the Ball getting dropped from the space ship on to mars.
This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.
We enjoy practising our basic facts each day using Prototec. We also try and beat the clock on paper throughout the year. Here is my Term 4 results. I am proud of percent.
We have been reading a Rugby league Reads Magazine issue 1 2014. We have been learning about physiotherapists and rugby. Here is my work.
We are really good at creating sprites using google draw. For the past 2 weeks we have been learning how to make our sprites eyes or facial features move separate to their bodies. This is called a parallax. Here is an example I have made and the code that makes it work. The bit I liked most was putting the eyes on the head. Now I want to do it every day.
A few weeks ago, instead of our camp to Coopers Beach, we went on a day trip to KawaKawa and had a sleepover at school. Our awesome parent helpers came along to supervise us. Here is a letter I wrote to say thank you.

For pet day 2021 we created Vaseline Saucers. We made a design and thought about symmetry and patterns. Then on Pet day we used our designs to help us with creating our work. Here is my DLO for my Vaseline Saucer

This week in writing we have been looking at recounts and how we can improve our writing. We started looking at our writing rubrics and understanding how to find what level pieces of writing are.
Today was meant to be Greats and Grands day at our school. This has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19. We wanted to still share some writing about our amazing grandparents. Here is my work.
