Catching The Sun
We ave been learning about narrative writing. We rewrote a story Catching the sun. Here is my story.
Catching The sun Yeah we need sun
Setting: desert and icy place
Retold by Ollie (That's me)
Once upon a time Saynday was walking along and he saw a speedy fox, a fat magpie and a skinny deer. “What's wrong?” Saynday asked. “The ball of light is only on one side of the world,” said the animals. “We need more sun!” Saynday wanted the hot ball too so he and the animals hatched a plan. Fox was to zoom to the other side of the world, grab it and give it to the deer who would give it to magpie, who would give it to Saynday, who would stop the black, inky darkness.
So they put their sneaky plan into action but it didn't go as it was meant to! Soon the sun people were chasing Fox, viciously brandishing their spears but Fox soon out darted them. Then he gave it to deer who gave it to magpie. Then Saynday catapulted the sun up and shafts of light rained down on them.
But it was too hot so Saynday put the hot sun in the middle so it could be light on both sides of the world. In case you're wondering why it's because he had to make it fair.
Ps.He also did it because it was too light. And they all lived happily ever after.
